FRIGHTENING footage of lorries ignoring warning signs and almost crashing into motorway maintenance workers has been released by the Highways Agency. One video clip shows a lorry avoiding one of the agency's traffic officer vehicles which was attending a breakdown on the M6 near Birmingham. The truck also just avoids the traffic officers and the passengers in the broken down car.
Fisker has released the first image of its new Surf vehicle, set to debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. Focusing on continuing with the company's philosophy, 'Pure Driving Passion' - the electric vehicle with extender range is said to be akin to the Fisker Karma sedan, but Fisker has intriguingly promised a new twist. Other than this and the sole image of the Surf, details of the car have been kept secret in the build-up to this year's Frankfurt motor show. Lotus has confirmed the full details of its new Evora Hybrid, or the Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid Concept Car, to give it the full, long-winded name. It's a plug-in petrol-electric hybrid car in keeping with Hethel's performance credentials: it'll hit 60mph in 'less than 4sec'. The range of the Evora hybrid testbed is said to be more than 300 miles.
